SAMIKSHA - 2K21 National level IT Fest is  a departmental activity conducted by Department of MCA every year at "Andhra Loyola College - Vijayawada Andhra Pradesh" with   resource persons from various software industries. This Two day National Level  Event is organized to bring out the hidden talents of Our MCA students and also to promote awareness about the need to develop enriching institution and industry relationship.

The theme of the Event is 'Explore into New IT Horizons'.In the present context, innovation and creativity play a vital role in all spheres of life. The Department students of our Country. By this, the college Management hopes to produce brilliant IT-Experts in future.

During this Event, there will be activities like Coding & Debugging, Technical Quiz, Poster & Paper presentations,Code Hub, Word Runner, Blogger Design ,Tech Selfiee, Dazzle Coding,Treasure Hunt , Telugu Poetry, Solo/Group Dance, Admiring Advertisements and Web designing will be conducted and organized by the students.

The department relentlessly works for the overall growth and personality development of the students. Personality encompasses number of factors like - the way we look, the way we talk, the way we dress,the way we listen, the way we act and our willingness to help others.

Samiksha is an IT fest conducted by Department of MCA at "Andhra Loyola College" on 9th Nov 2K18.Samiksha aims at providing to development & showcase their technical skills. Objectives of this event are innovation, creativity and enthuse & inspire young people about current technology. This helps to bring out the hidden talents of the students.
The Theme of this event is “Discovering new ideas”, innovation and creativity plays a vital role. By this the college Management hopes to produce Brilliant IT-Expert in future.
The activities conducted in this event are:

About 150-200 students from various colleges attend this Event. Vision of this event is “Creating Leaders for Tomorrow”. This is a platform to gain knowledge where knowledge will gives us a power. It also helps to develop efficient knowledge and emphasis on the problem solving capabilities of the students.

The Chief Guest for Valedictory Lakshmi Narayana Madduri(Project Manager Extranet Software Solutions). Guest of Honour for Valedictory B Raja Kumari IPS(Deputy Commissioner of Police Crime Branch Vijayawada).

Industrial Visit - NRT TECH PARK (Mangalagiri)

    On 10 th October the Department of MCA organized one day industrial Visit to NRT TECH PARK (Managalagiri) 2018 for DMCA Students under the guidance of  h onorable Vice-PrincipalRev.Fr.Rex Angelo..S.J .      The Department of MCA organized one day Industrial Visit to NRT TECH PARK(Mangalagiri) on 10th of October 2018 for DMCA Students.  Visit was organized with the prior permission and guidance of Honorable Vice-Principal Rev.Fr.Rex Angelo,.S.J. It was supported by HOD Mrs.Poonam along with Department staff Mrs. Manjula Rani, Mr. Anand, Mr. Pagalla Bhavani Shankar and programmer Mrs. Keerthi. Total 42 students and 4 staff and 1 programmer visited the NRT TECH PARK. The students got benefited in terms of technical details provided by the company on an important part of Internships & Recruitment Policy of Company.

In Andhra Loyola college, Vijayawada, the Department of MCA organized a Guest Lecture on Research Perspectives of Computer Science: Approaches & Opportunities on 22,december, 2023.   The guest lecturer for the event was Pagalla Bhavani Shanka, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, University College of Engineering and Technology, Krishna University . During the lecture, Mr. Bhavani Shanka emphasized the growing importance of the researches. He explained seven steps of research process during the session. The speaker highlighted the era of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
