Anti-Ragging

ANTI-RAGGING  CAMPAIGN held over in Andhra Loyola College by the Department of MCA 

Ragging, a once prevalent practice in educational institutions, has left scars on countless students, affecting their physical and mental well-being. However, the fight against this demeaning tradition has led to the emergence of various initiatives aimed at creating safer spaces for learning.

So MCA department took the initiative to run an Anti-Ragging campaign.

This includes:

                                     *DEBATE 

                                      *ESSAY WRITING

                                      * POSTER PRESENTATION  

DEBATE:

These debates equip students with the ability to articulate their thoughts effectively and encourage them to think critically about their stance on ragging and the steps needed to eradicate it.

Essay Writing

. By researching and composing essays, students not only gain a comprehensive understanding of the issue but also develop critical thinking skills. These essays contribute to a repository of knowledge that can be used for further advocacy and policy improvement.

 Poster Presentation

Students creatively design posters that showcase the stories of survivors, statistics related to ragging incidents, and the legal consequences perpetrators can face. This activity not only educates but also sparks empathy among students, fostering a sense of unity against ragging.
