Seminar on Microsoft Azure and Office 365

Department of Information Technology, ALIET Vijayawada conducted a seminar on Microsoft Azure. NMCA students of MCA department participated in the seminar. Mr N. Anil Kumar,Microsoft Manager for the South,West region was the resource person. He talked on cloud computing,Microsoft Azure and Office 365.

Seminar on Employment Skills

Mr.P.V.Narasimha (a Graduate in Commerce & Law ), worked in various companies like Maruti Plastics Ltd, Nayagara Papers Ltd, Seaways Shipping Ltd in Finanace, Accounts and Administartion before he became a Director of T.I.M.E., Vijayawada in 1999. He has been in the Education field since 1999 handling classes for CAT , ICET, CRT & GRE. He gave a seminar on preparation for GDs,Interviews preparing for Campus Recruitment and for admissions into various companies.Neary 60 students participated in the seminar and expressed that it is beneficiary.

A Seminar on Advanced Technologies in Current Trends

The Department of MCA organized a seminar on “Advanced Technologies in Current Trends” on 30th September 2016. Mr.T.RaviKumar from Department of Computer Science & Engineering, ALIET Vijayawada, was the resource person.

A Guest Lecture on Career Awareness Program

MCA Department, conducted a Guest Lecture on the topic “Career Awareness Program”, on 29th Aug 2016 in the PG Department. Dr. T.SriKumar from Department of Physics, ALC Vijayawada, was the resource person. Dr. T.SriKumar, started the talk with giving a brief statistics on the current employability status of MCA students. His talk  focused on the recent industry trends in software field. He listed down more than fifteen roles/designation currently being practiced in the core companies; their skill set requirement, companies name, job responsibilities etc and explained the career growth ladder. Dr. T.SriKumar emphasized on the importance of right mix of knowledge, attitude and additional skills for a successful career. The talk provided the students a platform for sharing their thoughts and was endowed with proper guidance regarding all the aspects of career in software field.

Seminar held on Ethical Hacking

MCA IVth Semester student Siva Ravindranath(NMCA 23) has given a seminar in the afternoon session on computer security and Ethical hacking. IInd and IVth semester students attended the program.       Mr.Siva Ravidranath explained the risks involved in the use of internet and precautionary steps that have to be followed. He demonstrated a few of the hacking process with the help of tools.
