IT KNACK Event: A Platform for Students to Showcase Tech Talent and Beyond

 

SUBHEADLINE: Department of MCA Organizes Event

 

PG seminar hall, 22nd FEB 2025 - The Department of MCA is proud to announce the organization of IT KNACK, an annual IT event designed to engage students in the culture of the IT environment. This event aims to extend students' professional networks, share knowledge, and explore future technologies through various tech activities.

 

 Activities :

 

TEAM TALK: A group discussion is an interactive process where a group of individuals come together to exchange ideas, opinions, and information on a specific topic. The goal of a group discussion is to arrive at a collective decision or solution that is acceptable to all members of the group.

 

CODE CRUSADERS: A coding competition to test students' programming skills.

 

ASTAVADHANAM:  A test of students' knowledge in IT and related fields.

 

HIRING HYPE: In this competition we conduct the Mock interview ,which is helped to crack the real-time interview process.

 

IT KNACK aims to provide a platform for students to:

 

 Enhance their IT skills and knowledge, Network with peers and industry experts, Showcase their innovative ideas and projects& Develop their soft skills tech events

 

Students from various colleges of Andhra Pradesh and universities are invited to participate in IT KNACK.  Around 25 students Participated in the event.

 

Winners from various competitions are honour by valedictory of our Department of MCA  with certificate and shield those who are participated will get their certicifation of participate directly to their respective colleges.

    On 10 th October the Department of MCA organized one day industrial Visit to NRT TECH PARK (Managalagiri) 2018 for DMCA Students under the guidance of  h onorable Vice-PrincipalRev.Fr.Rex Angelo..S.J .      The Department of MCA organized one day Industrial Visit to NRT TECH PARK(Mangalagiri) on 10th of October 2018 for DMCA Students.  Visit was organized with the prior permission and guidance of Honorable Vice-Principal Rev.Fr.Rex Angelo,.S.J. It was supported by HOD Mrs.Poonam along with Department staff Mrs. Manjula Rani, Mr. Anand, Mr. Pagalla Bhavani Shankar and programmer Mrs. Keerthi. Total 42 students and 4 staff and 1 programmer visited the NRT TECH PARK. The students got benefited in terms of technical details provided by the company on an important part of Internships & Recruitment Policy of Company.

Seminar on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and Machine Learning (ML)

A pioneering workshop aimed at fostering innovation in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and Machine Learning (ML) was conducted at Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada from 26th-29th April 2024.A total of 110 students from two sections of MCA, were participated. Under the guidance of seasoned experts from purple technologies, participants delved into hands-on sessions covering a wide array of topics, including Al algorithms, IoT applications, and ML models. The workshop provided a unique opportunity for students to explore the intersection of these disciplines and gain practical insights into their real-world applications.
