A pioneering workshop aimed at fostering innovation in
Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Prompt Engineering was conducted at Andhra
Loyola College, Vijayawada. A total of 110 students from two sections of MCA,
were participated.
Introduction
Prompt Engineering shapes how AI systems respond to queries
by crafting precise and contextual instructions. Well-designed prompts optimize
the accuracy, relevance, and reliability of AI responses, making them crucial
for effective AI interaction.
What is Prompt Engineering?
Prompt engineering involves creating tailored instructions
for AI systems to guide their behaviour and optimize outcomes. This discipline
ensures that AI models produce more accurate and relevant results across
various applications and industries.
How Prompt Engineering Works
The quality of AI responses is heavily influenced by the
clarity and specificity of prompts. Effective prompts guide AI behaviour,
reduce bias, and enhance the model's ability to understand user intent.

Well-Designed Prompt: "Can you recommend

Poorly Designed Prompt: "Paris travel"
The first prompt is clear, specific, and contextual, which
leads to more relevant and accurate responses.
