                  A guest talk on Emerging Technologies in IT was conducted at Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada. A total of 70 students from two sections of MCA participated and gained valuable insights into the latest trends and developments shaping the future of the IT industry.

What We Learned

During the talk, students were introduced to different modern tools and technologies used in the IT industry. The resource person explained and demonstrated:

  • Bootstrap – for designing responsive and mobile-friendly websites

  • Figma (UI Design Tool) – for creating user interfaces and app/website design prototypes

  • HTML – basics of webpage structure and how websites are created

The speaker also discussed job placements, required industry skills, interview preparation tips, and how to build a strong resume for IT careers.

Outcome of the Session

  • Students gained confidence in using UI/UX and web development tools

  • Understood what skills are needed for IT job placements

  • Learned how to improve their portfolio and prepare for interviews

It was supported by HOD Mrs.Poonam along with Department staff Mrs. Manjula Rani, Mr. Anand, Mr. Pagalla Bhavani Shankar and programmer Mrs. Keerthi. Total 42 students and 4 staff and 1 programmer visited the NRT TECH PARK. The students got benefited in terms of technical details provided by the company on an important part of Internships & Recruitment Policy of Company.

On the occasion of College Day, Andhra Loyola College (Autonomous) organizes "Ethnic Day" on 09-12-2019. In this commune, Andhra Loyola College conducted several events,which are exhibits and expose the great Indian Culture.  Our Student " MANIMELA VAMSI KRISHNA " successfully participated and won 3rd Prize for Ethnic wear competition.
